The first thing u must do is to buy Crystal food. There is another one but u are not interested in that if u want to make DC recipes.

Ok... now that u have it, go to a buffalo and start to feed it. For things to be easier put the food in your bar and use it like a skill.

When the buffalo transforms for the first time u will know what it will become, either Fighter Type or Mage Type. The fighter hits with his head and sometimes self buffs and the mage always hit with magic from water,wind and fire.

If u have Fighter buffalo u should not raise it more than X2, its perfect for DC Boots Recs and DC shield Recs and believe me, u'll get plenty

If u have Mage Buffalo raise it to full size X4 to get DC helmet Recipes.

All u need is a spoiler for them.

Extra-info: sometimes at X4 they turn into Trainer buffalo, he gives HP to the owner if he is fighter type and give MP if the owner is Mage type. So even tho u are not the spoiler u should grow a trainer for MP/HP. The trainer also gives 3 buffs to the owner if he has none.
